Biltong & Cheese Deep Fried Onions - A BraaiBoy TV Recipe

Deep Frying is not something that is normally associated with braaing and an open fire, but when my mate and camera man Donsie told me about it, I figured it was time to once again prove that anything you can do on a stove, I can do on a braai, and with the Chad-O-Chef Hybrid... I can turn my gas braai into a wood braai for some high heat. As always, just following a recipe is boring and feels a little like straight-up stealing someone else idea (but mainly, if it \flops\, then I can just claim that I wasn\t following the recipe and that was the intended result :P). The original recipe calls for a traditional flour, eggs and crumbs batter, I went with a beer batter with a touch of cayenne. I also pressed some biltong into the cheese... because everyone in South Africa loves biltong. I haven\t been this in love since braai pie & pizza wors, SO...
